Dr. Nicole J. Wadsworth embodies the values of vision, leadership, and service through her lifelong commitment to Alabama’s progress. As a site selector and economic development consultant, she has played an instrumental role in recruiting and retaining industry across the state, from manufacturing and agribusiness to healthcare and infrastructure development. She has also been deeply involved in revitalizing historic buildings and creating environments that support both economic growth and cultural legacy. Her dedication extends beyond business into civic and philanthropic service. Dr. Wadsworth serves on the board of the F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald Museum and has held leadership positions with Manufacture Alabama, the Business Council of Alabama, and numerous trade and civic associations. She has also supported food banks across Alabama through direct donations and grant assistance, addressing food insecurity as part of her broader mission of community development. Recognized as a finalist for the Russell Brown Executive Leadership Award and as a leader of initiatives like the I Shop Local campaign, Dr. Wadsworth consistently demonstrates her ability to unite business leaders, policymakers, and communities toward shared goals.
